Jonathan Rauh
I am PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of South Carolina with a focus in Public Policy and Administration. My interests include administrative ethics, education policy, and organization theory. My research to date has focused on the performance of state ethics commissions and on the performance of educational choice programs - particularly online choice options. In both areas my interests revolve around the nexus of politics and public administration, particularly with regard to expectations versus performance and how the discrepancy influences policy demands.
I currently serve as an Operations Analyst for Regulatory Compliance with Aflac and previously served as the Research Administrator for the SC Department of Education's, Office of eLearning. As part of both my academic and professional endeavors I have evaluated a variety of state and federal grants including the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Additionally, I provide legislative and economic reporting for program planning and accountability.
Links to my publications are included below, as well as my cv.
